They truly accommodate everyone to the highest levels.
I would recommend this facility anytime, my mother in law lived here for 8 years and I can tell you they were some of the best years of her life! She was so happy here.
My mother also did rehab here and loved it, she was so well taken care of.
Vicki is truly a gem, she manages to give the best possible care available to everyone.

Finding balance, building strength! This week, our residents enjoyed a Balance Class led by Megan Boyd, our amazing Wellness Coordinator & Fitness Manager. She creates a variety of classes to keep health and wellness at the center of life here at Pomperaug Woods. 💪🏋️♂️
We’re counting down to our Walk to End Alzheimer’s! Yesterday, our dedicated committee gathered to finalize the details and make sure this year’s event is the best yet. We can’t wait to come together for a meaningful day supporting such an important cause. 💜🙌

Our Memory Care residents recently had a sweet afternoon at Rich’s Farm, where they enjoyed a fun field trip filled with ice cream and smiles! Meet Ida Ressler, this month's spotlighted Independent Living resident. Ida fills her days with activities she loves, from weekly Bridge games and daily walks to leading the Current Events discussion group once a month. She’s a regular at the Fitness Center, enjoys Cocktail Hour every Friday... with friends, and never misses a musical program or performance. 🍹🎶💬
She also shared her appreciation for Lisa Huebenthal, our Director of Community Life: “Lisa is a treasure. She’s so creative, and she puts together a full activities calendar for us every month. There’s always something interesting to do.”
