I would recommend this facility anytime, my mother in law lived here for 8 years and I can tell you they were some of the best years of her life! She was so happy here.
My mother also did rehab here and loved it, she was so well taken care of.
Vicki is truly a gem, she manages to give the best possible care available to everyone.

What a beautiful start to 2026! We were invited guests to a wonderful performance on Thursday, bringing a full bus of residents to a sold-out Washington Friends of Music Annual New Year’s Day Concert.
Directed by Michael Volpert, the performance featured 15 internationally acclaimed ...musicians presenting world-class chamber music, including Baroque masterworks by Corelli, Telemann, Vivaldi, Bach, C.P.E. Bach, and Geminiani.
Our residents had a wonderful time experiencing such a fantastic performance and celebrating the New Year with beautiful music and great company. 🎻🚌👏
What a wonderful evening we had celebrating the New Year at Pomperaug Woods! Our Dining Services team prepared a delicious meal for our residents, while a talented harpist filled the room with beautiful music, creating an elegant and memorable dining experience. With festive decorations and great ...company all around, it was truly a special night to ring in the New Year together. 🎶🥂🥳

After last night’s snowfall, we’re thinking of our neighbors throughout the Southbury community and hope everyone is staying safe and warm. With so much snow on the ground, winter can certainly bring its challenges. ❄️
